The course takes place over 3 years. Each year equates to 60 ECTS credits spread over approximately 700 hours of teaching activities:
Admission to the first year of the course is open to students who:
- hold either a higher secondary education certificate issued by a Belgian secondary education establishment or one of the other certificates or diplomas mentioned in paragraph 1, article 22 of the decree dated 5 August 1995.
- demonstrate sufficient command of the French language according to terms and conditions set down in the law.

Information about admission and enrolment rules
Graduates may in some circumstances enrol for the Licence in Information Systems, for the Licence in Economics or for an information systems specialisation and, from September 2007, for some master degrees.
Exchanges are possible subject to departmental and headship approval. These are normally limited to students in their last year and are primarily placements.
